About First Trust China AlphaDEX Fund (FCA)

The First Trust China AlphaDEX Fund (FCA) is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield, before fees and expenses, of an equity index called the NASDAQ AlphaDEX China Index. The NASDAQ AlphaDEX China Index is a modified equal dollar-weighted index that is designed to objectively identify and select stocks from the universe of companies in the NASDAQ China Index (NQCN) that may generate positive alpha relative to traditional passive-style indices through the use of the AlphaDEX selection methodology.

The fund's investment objective is to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield, before fees and expenses, of the NASDAQ AlphaDEX China Index. It typically invests at least 90% of its net assets in the securities of companies included in the index. The fund may invest in depositary receipts representing securities of the index or securities that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the economic characteristics of the securities of the index. The index is compiled and calculated by NASDAQ OMX or a third-party provider and is disseminated by NASDAQ OMX on a real-time basis.
